After a few weeks of working on the book about Nisa, Abe has found it to be so emotionally challenging that we've decided to slow down on it and work on a second book in parallel. This allows Abe to work on the Nisa book until he's emotionally frazzled and then switch to working on a book that doesn't require him to spill his guts out and then pick through the entrails with a microscope.
So, we've decided that our Ducks book, a book that focuses on the ducks that live at our local pond, will be the project that we move up. This is good because Abe loves ducks and they make him very happy!
We've already started compiling research for the book. It is going to follow the lives of the ducks throughout the year and will include a lot of information about wetlands and the other species that live in the pond.
Thanks for checking in!
